GDKACC was founded in 1976 and now represents over 800 Korean American business entities doing business in Greater Dallas, concentrated in the area commonly known as the Asian Trade District. Our membership includes major Korean American corporations, financial institutions, and non-profit organizations operating in a wide range of sectors. It also includes honorable members such as locally based attorneys, accountants, and other service professionals connected with business in Korea.
Mission The Greater Dallas Korean American Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business for the Korean American community. As the most prominent representative of Korean American business entities in Greater Dallas, GDKACC fulfills a multi-faceted mission. In addition to supporting locally-based Korean American executives to provide the members with practical information and to promote friendly relations among the members, GDKACC is active in the development of "corporate diplomacy" initiatives to build economic cooperation and to advance closer relations between the Korean American community and other business communities in Greater Dallas.

Initiatives GDKACC has several important initiatives for our members. We have promoted various events such as monthly leadership seminars, appreciation luncheons, and business-oriented workshops with specialized outstanding outside speakers in order for member companies to cope effectively with the continuously changing business environments in Greater Dallas. Our member companies have experienced the difficulties and challenges of doing business in the United States. In order to resolve these problems, GDKACC assists members with communications, city support, safety measures, and education on the Western philosophy of business acumen and networking, with a concentration on vendor relations. GDKACC is instrumental to the Korean American business community in helping to bridge this gap.
AffiliationsGDKACC maintains ongoing relationships with a wide range of business organizations in Greater Dallas with an interest in Korea. This includes the Korean Society of Dallas, National Unification Advisory Council (NUAC), Federation of Korean Industries (FKI), Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Korea Economic Institute of America (KEI), Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), U.S.-Korea Business Council, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM). Additionally, GDKACC provides support, sponsorship, and programs to assist our fellow Chambers of Commerce and ethnic communities in Greater Dallas including the Greater Dallas Regional Chamber (GDRC) and Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce (GDAACC). Our affiliations have contributed to our growth and evolution, enabling us to form close relationships with the City of Dallas and surrounding corporations, and to foster greater networking and business development opportunities.
